Laser Accuracy: The Linear
Measurement Enhancement Package® is designed to upgrade
supermicrometers® to achieve high accuracy. The resolution is 1.5
microinch. The laser accuracy is 1.5 microinches +/- 1 microinch/inch.
Opto-Electronic Tailstock:
Our unique opto-electronic sensor provides a latching signal for
automatic data recording.
The
repeatability is 3 microinches. There is no need for an analog meter
and no need for difficult zero setting.
Desk Top Computer Power:
Display measurements in English or metric units, set measurement
parameters, and perform automatic data recording, data processing,
and data management.
Easy Installation:
The ME-2000 comes complete with a Desk Top PC, an opto-electronic
sensor, and a mounting kit, all of which can be installed in
minutes.
Automatic Compensation:
Automatic compensation for environmental changes and thermal
expansion is also available as a hardware option.
The Linear Measurement Enhancement Package® may be purchased as a
turn-key unit using a customer supplied Supermicrometer® or as a
laser kit with instructions for easy customer assembly. (Upon
request a used Supermicrometer® can be quoted as part of a turn-key
system).
