Squareness and flatness
For surface flatness measurement, based on the Moody’s technique, the MCV-2002
dual-beam laser calibration system can be used. With a straight-edge attachment, a surface plate can be calibrated in a few hours with high resolution and accuracy. The data collection is on-the-fly. With the laser head pre-aligned to the straight edge, no further alignment is needed for other segments. With additional accessories, a quad-detector, optical square and software, the squareness and straightness can also be measured.
