Laser stability is 0.02 ppm and measurement accuracy is 0.2 ppm   

 RANCHO DOMINGUEZ, CA—May 1, 2015 —Optodyne Inc., the leader in laser measurement, calibration and compensation systems, today has announced a new stable laser head L-109H for high performance and accuracy measurement.  The L-109H is compatible with the L-109 laser head.  The physical dimensions, mounting holes, connectors and accessories mount threads are all the same as shown below.  The outside dimensions are 2” X 2” X 8.5” (50 mm X 50 mm X 215 mm).  

With more solid mounting structure and balanced thermal design, the laser frequency stability was tested to be better than 0.02 ppm.  Hence better than 0.2 ppm measurement accuracy can be achieved.

The MCV-500 laser calibration system is a basic system for linear displacement measurement.  It is compact, easy to setup and operate.  With accessories such as SD-500 to perform 3D volumetric position error measurement; AM-500 for angular error measurement; LB-500 for dynamic circular contouring measurement; SP-500 for spindle error motion measurement, etc.  It is complete with carrying cases, data collection and processing software using USB interface and Windows os.  The software capable of automatic data collection, data analysis based on ISO 230 and ASME B5 standards and generates pitch error compensation files for most controllers such as Fanuc, Siemens, Forgo, Heidenhain, Mitsubishi, etc.
